How We Can Help You & Your Loved Ones

At Ashwell Home Care Services we recognise that there is no standard package of care which meets everyone’s needs. We respect the fact that what is right for one person may not be right for another so we do not try and make family members fit into a standard ‘one size fits all’. Instead we listen to our family members to establish exactly what they need and what will work for them and only once we have a sound understanding of what is right for them do we create a personalised package which is different for every family member that we care for & support. We will ensure there is a transparent process for matching Care Companions to family members taking into account the persons care and support needs and the Care Companions work skills and if appropriate both parties interests and preferences.

We appreciate and value the fact that we are guests in your home each time that we visit and will respect the fact that we are there to encourage, promote and support your independence. There may be times when we visit that you want us to do something different to what is set out in your individual care package for that call and that is not a problem as we want to be as flexible as you need us to be. If you are visiting our website then you may be considering that either you or a loved one may benefit from having care and support at home. We recognise that you may have many questions that spring to mind when considering care such as:

What kind of care and support do I need? How much will my care and support cost and who will pay for it? How much care and support do I need? Is having care and support at home more expensive than going into a home? What happens if I don’t like the carers you send? Why should I choose your care agency? We appreciate that people have preferences, aspirations and potential throughout their lives and our agency is committed to recognizing and encouraging this.
